It's not just about deporting illegals for a myriad of reasons, it's about respecting those who come here legally.

To those who think this is a good idea I have two questions.

1.Is it smart idea to deport illegals currently in prison before the wall is even up? Unless Donald Trump already has the building plans and contractors line up out the wazoo it will be a long time before that wall even starts to get built or even finished.

2.Why should someone get to weasel out of their prison sentence just because they happen to be an illegal alien? Because I don't see Mexico, Canada or what ever other countries illegals are from locking up their citizens for crimes committed off their soil.

When he speaks of criminal illegal aliens I think he's mostly talking about criminals who've avoided sentencing because they are not citizens.

You guys are gonna regret this once you realise you can no longer drive down to Home Depot and pick up a bunch of Mexicans who will mow your lawn for like $6 an hour.

Do you really think those hombres are here to mow our lawn?
Besides, 6$ an hour is hella expensive.

I mean...why else would they be in the parking lot holding up a crude cardboard sign that says "travaho"?

You might be able to do that in your state but not in mine.

The reason that Trump wants to deport all of those illegal immigrants....he may want to try to create a labor shortage in the US. Deporting undocumented aliens reduces the labor pool. Then you try to create a glut of jobs by creating jobs with projects like rebuilding and repairing the infrastructure, or in sectors like energy and manufacturing. You can also limit legal immigration as well until the point where you have such a job shortage that you can start issuing more work visas to foreigners.

It costs $10,000 for each individual so in total that would be 10 to 20 billion dollars.

"American Progress" ... what is this vague, handclaspy article.

Illegals are a net drain on the economy. Letting ICE do its job won't cost anything more than we're already paying them. Also, Trump is focusing on those with a criminal history.

That number comes from a conservative thinktank.

Criminals here illegally are first forced to serve their prison sentence, and then deported to Mexico regardless of which Latin country they come from. To add insult to injury, we don't tell Mexico who they are, or why they are being deported so Mexico gets screwed over by it too ironically since we just dump murderers or other felons into their midst with no form of ID or anything.

Don't get me wrong, 1-strike and you're out is way more than generous . . . However I feel like we should at least give Mexico a heads up on who is who, and what crime they committed if any (as well as determine which Latin American country they are from). Compared to the cost of keeping them in prison, such basic things would be relatively cheap.

(The US doesn't just let people escape who wronged it. A good example would be the poor Brit who created a mini stock crash or whatever who just got extradited to the US where he is gonna get fucked in the courts. Or the Brit who tried to kill Trump . . . You don't just get to go home after committing a crime on US soil)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

OnT: Pretty sure the 2-3 million was an estimate of how many committed crimes . . . could be wrong on this but since their are 11-12 million, 2-3 million seems relatively low. Obama has deported 2.5 million, more than any previous president, so it is really ironic that Trump is basically aiming for the same number as Obama, after the number of accusations he has made regarding Obama I really have to wonder how he is any different.

We've seen a lot of "conservatives" supporting Hillary of late. Let's see where they get their money from.
