This was a grand finale. This episode was kinda fan-services towards Bang Dream fanclubs with a shitload of music performances. MyGO hijacked the show at the last minute. lol It was nice to see their performance again. The sequel was announced. The location is Oslo, Norway. |

I'm SO SO SO SO SO FUCKING SICK OF MyGO. I'm pretty sure the title of this anime is AVE MUJICA This is THE final episode and we wasted OVER HALF THE EPISODE for MyGO? It also ENDED WITH MYGO and NOT Ave Mujica ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? 1/10 out of spite God what a fucking waste of time Mortis drama ruined it and Crychic MyGo stupid drama and forced relevance ruined it even more |

This episode was just a 20-minute long 2D concert for MyGo and Ave Mujica. It really feels like an ending (I think resolution may be a better word) to both bands' stories that began with MyGo episode 1. It helps that the last scene is MyGo taking a bow and thanking the audience for watching them, which I think is also meant to be understood as the cast and crew thanking us viewers for following both bands' stories and making it to the end. The songs were good (I liked MyGo's first song and AveMuji's last song the best), and it was nice to see one more Ave Mujica dramatic performance that allows the characters to make peace with their personal issues and insecurities by surrendering their fates to Sakiko and the band (I think that's how it works). (P.S. Mortis is alive!) |

My prediction was right that we will get 4 new songs. We got 3 from AveMujica and 1 from MyGo!!!!! ("Tanebi", the 2nd MyGo!!!!! song was actually one of their earlier songs as the coupling track from "Hitoshizuku", the Its MyGo!!!!! anime OP). And the other thing I am suspecting since ep10, we will definitely gonna have a sequel. Well next week we have a new music anime "Rock Is a Lady's Modesty", so we have no breaks. We definitely now are on this new era of Girls Band anime. |

So, this season was actually 12 episodes long, while episode 13 was a mini live concert and an advertisement for the rest of the story in general? Well, I liked Ave Mujica as such. But in terms of Bandori and especially compared to MyGO it was often too cheesy and over the top melodramatic. In the end, to me, it didn't even feel like a darker version of MyGO, but more like a darker version of Garupa in general because of how cartoonish the drama was with the constant mental illness themes and soap opera twists. @GangsterCat MyGO was ultimately their clear favorite due to its more obvious critical and audience success, while Ave Mujika felt too uneven and divisive. Although Ayano was clearly very invested in Sakiko x Uika, even if they made them related. |

I can't believe its over... I don't even know what to say, that was a great finale, the peak of fan service for a band anime. Im just happy to see Mortis back, she's still there /CRIES And yes, it still felt lacking, I was hoping to at least get a nice MutsuSaki moment. Still, we're geting a Sequel! And that's enough for now.. A new Popipa shorts + an AveMyGO sequel, Bandori fans eating good. (I hope Ave Mujica gets implemented in the game soon) |

@RobertBobert I absolutely HATE the voice acting and singing skills of MyGO's members, especially Anon and Tomori Ave Mujica is top-tier especially Uika (Sasaki Rico) who has plenty of discography outside Bang Dream. even this season, she sings Welcome to Japan Elf-san OP theme. |

@Aleksu They've already closed the Uika x Sakiko sbuplot at this point in episode 12. At least for now, considering that the theme of their family will clearly appear again in the sequel. If they were more pushy with it, I'm afraid they'd start getting accused of promoting incest and queerbaiting. @GangsterCat It's up to you, but at this point MyGO has clearly been more successful and thoughtfully done in comparison. |

@lazy_Modifier Both groups are more or less popular. The question is that MyGO anime is more or less compatible with Garupa, while Ave Mujica is a thing in itself. @Aleksu Yes, you already said that you are not against incest. But it seems that for some reason they did not quite fit into the timing and that is why we got a rushed ending even despite the announcement of a planned sequel. |

What a moment, what a show, and what a ending. It was a success to make me happy enough for both Ave Mujica and MyGO!!!!! I just want to say since it's over, this show means a lot to me personally. At first I thought when MyGO!!!!! ended I would never see them again so I'm so grateful now that even until the end of the show they brought MyGO!!!!! back on stage, it was a very precious moment for sure. Besides that even though Ave Mujica has a heavier story and explores more about the problems between characters, but that's this show, what you have to know is that even MyGO!!!!! or Ave Mujica can be different both in concept and each member. The point is I like both of them, and I will miss them so much. ![]() ![]() |

@VP2003boi Yes, considering how many blank spots there are in the story. However, it is possible that this was intentional, to leave material for a sequel. @RafaBryan Why did you decide you'd never see them again? It's a double season and both bands are inextricably linked. Not to mention their cameos in the show. |

@RobertBobert yeah its possible. But mygo was also in the same situation where it left a few things unresolved but it still felt a lot more complete to me. Here it feels different. Well, it just kind of ends, as expected. It was a rollercoaster ride with ups and downs for all of us, but it arrived at its final stop for this journey at long last. Love the two match cuts at the beginning, the Bang Dream franchise sure got passed on from MyGO to Ave Mujica now. Great show, four new songs, plenty of things to enjoy at last, be it MyGO CM or the theatrical bits of Ave Mujica. Pretty much concluded the story for everyone, almost. Real Uika is out there somewhere. Poor Mana is going solo after Sumimi. And they really have to show Mortis one last time. Pick one for season 3, just not sure which part will be northern Europe related. Eve from PasPale? (I was so wrong about that odd blue LED wristband surrounded by red ones. I thought it could’ve been someone special at the Ave Mujica show given it was in the teaser, but it turned out to be a random girl at MyGO live) |

@VP2003boi I would bet that the sequel would be fully united to complete or continue the story for all the characters. The movie could be a good idea for that. @Tamunomo MyGO and Ave Mujica are inseparable from each other and do not transfer anything to each other. Both of these groups are a conditional new "generation" in the franchise. |

I was joking about the sequel, man... I love the performance at MyGO!!!!! second song and AveMuji first song. Tanebi is one of my MyGO fav songs and the first avemujica song sounds catchy and sick. The rest are decent and fine. I still think this would be so much better with more proper execution. Maybe because I set my expectation too high for this show... Well, I guess I should get it lower for the sequel then. |

Well it's over and there is a sequel coming. Some thought before i go insane: the performance is like, 200% of what i expected. It's explosive, charming, smooth, alluring. I thought i was watching a better bandori film live for a moment. Somehow i was expecting more story content at least, but the stage play kinda fill it as a closure anyway. i give this 7/10, it's good overall. i liked the quality of the production and attention to details it has, animation, voice acting, singings (ave mujica songs are just too good), etc... despite alot of short coming in the story Bandori's future is still looking great: there's full anime coming for ave mujica/mygo, short anime for popipa, more unnamed shorts that is probably garupa pico. not to mention their liveshows and merchs selling are hugely successful |

Wait, can anyone confirm that Ave Mujica literally sang a song about wishful thinking and living in an imaginary version of the real world? That sounds a little weird. @Okami_doge You sound like you expected this anime to have some kind of negative impact on that, lmao. Honestly, I don't remember Garupa ever having any real problems outside of the first season of the anime. |

And that's how Oblivionis (Sakiko) became a Goddess. If you want to compare MyGo to Ave Mujica, I'm more interested in the drama of MyGo than Ave Mujica but, in terms of music, I'm more into Ave Mujica. Well I'm glad it's getting a sequel because there are still many things that need to be resolved and clarified from Ave Mujica, and not to forget I'm happy to hear Sasaki Rico's and Youmiya Hina's beautiful voices in the sequel. Edit: i love Umiri ass scenes |

@Okami_doge They'll definitely be releasing new Garupa anime in the future because it actually benefits them. Both critically, financially, and from the audience. But even without that, it seems like MyGO and Ave Mujica are passion projects for them right now, which they're promoting as ambitious "original" anime. |

"She runs away and just want to forget it all." I really want to know what happened, what was the reason why Sakiko left and did all of these in the first place to the point of not talk about it or asking her CRYCHIC members for help. But then Nyamu reveal themselves, triggering Mutsumi's problem. Even in that s tate, Mutsumi still trying to help Sakiko but ended up hurting herself and the persona Mortis was born in order to fulfill everyone expectation as "Mortis" but that just ruined the band and it was disbanded due to them not in the same wavelength. Sakiko run away again, from Ave Mujica, and Mutsumi. Even Soyo had enough and finally drag her and force her to face the problem. Bringing her to Mutsumi's place and ask her to bring Mutsumi back. In the end, its not actually Sakiko that solve Mutsumi's problem but MyGo's the one who helped her. But, it's not actually solved. Mutsumi still fixated on helping Sakiko, the last song they did with CRYCHIC only made her think that Sakiko can only be happy with CRYCHIC while Sakiko also thing the same way for Mutsumi, but Mortis denied her and think Mutsumi can't be happy if she keep trying to help Sakiko. In the end, Ave Mujica was a band that was "forced" because the only thing the members have is that band, clinging their last finger on that band. Sakiko, the one who "own their lives" had to take responsible and play again. Struggle to decided, she ended up just "forget it all" and goes with the band. "Is Sakiko happy this way?" Probably, since she's still "looking for an answer" I have mixed feeling for this end She never actually tell everyone her problem directly till the end. But, she's slowly turning into a green leaf too now that she started to face the problem rather than run away now since she finally goes against her grandfather and do what she want. It's bitter to see where a character ended up "still growing" rather than finally change. "I hope you keep smiling, like a sunlight spot" I also wish for you to find your happiness soon. and i hope, even a small chance. CRYCHIC reunite---just kidding |

I kind of zoned out throughout the episode—weak ass songs from both groups. I think they ran out of good MyGo songs in the previous season, and Ave Mujica doesn’t even have any. Overall, it’s a step down from the previous season. My main issue is that they keep introducing plot points and then doing nothing with them—nothing gets resolved.
There’s a whole lot of wishy-washy writing: “Let’s disband.” “Let’s not disband.” “Let’s join another group.” Every character has an opinion, but they change it for no reason. |

- A girl has a clear mental illness? It was important for like eight episodes, but now that it episode 9(or whatever) it suddenly doesn’t matter!
- The alcoholic dad? That was a problem for a moment, but who doesn’t have one? Just move out, I guess.
- All the gay baiting? It’s obvious it wouldn’t lead anywhere since the anime is based on the actual group.
- etc, etc. I'm sure there are others, but I can't remember right now.

@combi2015 @combi2015 I think it's not so much the actual group that's important here (D4DJ had no problem introducing queer characters in a similar situation), but the fact that they suddenly declared them blood related at some point. If they don't jump into real incest or go into even more Santa Barbara with twists within twists, then we've got something between ForKids HaruMichi and a female version of Saint Seiya. |

@XArceusX Yep, a bunch of ass shots of Umiri... kinda a fan service too (and I bet those Chinese mainlanders are gonna make a lot of parody videos of that) I hope the sequel will really dig into the character settings and dramas in Ave Mujica... many of them are still left unresolved |

really weird finale (although the whole late third part of the season is iffy) it felt like a segment of one of the Film Live than Bandori already has (which i like, but dont fit in-between a season) with Nyamu and Mutsumi making gestures to the camera like it was a performance there or one of the irl groups live, which again, i really love, but dont fit an anime tv series and for some reason, like a 1000 Umiri ass shots... and im no prude, but these SO dont belong here they clearly ran out of steam towards the end, and these performance feel like a way to apologize for the lack of focus on the musical aspect of the series probably saving resources and brainpower for the sequel overall, not too good and i dont know how i feel about the "teaser" for the next season... like why are they going location shooting in Europe? lmao even buying into the "AM is extremely popular and a once in a lifetime phenomenom" that they told us at the start, touring europe? and with MyGo, which is comparatively less popular? (also, personally i feel like this tells me we are not getting a Mugendai mention, and i really like them so this is a minus) next season i want to see: - ZERO mention of CRYCHIC, no more of it - whatever shit plothole we still have on AM to be resolved in 1 or 2 episodes max. - some kind of Mugendai mention/tease |

Only 10% drama this time, all from Ave Mujica's stage performance, the rest are impressive performances from both bands. I like Ave Mujica's facial expressions during their performance, especially Uika's smirk and Sakiko's grin. The songs are all bangers too, I particularly like MyGO's second song and Ave Mujica's last song. Overall, this is peak Bandori anime. Bandori anime's trademark 3D animation is vastly improved, even over MyGO's own anime, the previous installment. The plot is gripping and full of twists. The soundtrack is awesome, which is what you'd expect from a Bandori anime. 10/10, I'd say this ranks among the top 3 of girls band animes. Next time we see these girls, it'll be in Europe, can't wait for that. |

Since another season has been announced, I won't be so critical of this one. In conclusion, it was enjoyable, although I admit that all the exaggerated drama threw me off for much of the anime, with incomprehensible and sometimes forced characters. That said, I quite liked this episode, with two very good songs by Ave Mujica, of a level far superior to Mygo (in my tastes and personal opinion). By the way, Mortis didn't die because when Mutsumi looked in the mirror, he came out (or so I think). Looking ahead, I hope for less drama and more depth in the characters. It has been a pleasure to comment here, and until next time. Greetings. |

Some sort of hiatus from the dramas... At least we finally get to hear more songs. Yet, that does NOT resolve the unfinished arcs (Togawa family, Uika/Hatsune...). Luckily, there will be a sequel to it, which, I hope, will address all these. This episode did respond to Sakiko's proclamation to be a god, by including a mini-play of rendition of Ragnarök suiting the worldview of AM with Sakiko (Oblivionis) being the god. Another disappointment — more like, bait. I thought that proclamation was metaphorical, signifying a change of Sakiko's character and role in the band. Yet, considering how every episode of AM ended with an intriguing 'plot twist' providing fantasy for imagination, but succeeded by a MUNDANE follow-up in the following episode's plot, this was fair. The choice of shooting of the sequel is very iffy to me. Oslo? Sure, Ragnarök is a Nordic myth about the perishment of gods and end of the world, but that does not make it convincing ENOUGH to start filming the sequel in another place. What have to be done with filming in Oslo or other Nordic/Scandinavian cities? I do appreciate the effort of Bushiroad & Bandori to include some psychological elements to make it more realistic. Unfortunately, to me, this series comes as a JUMBLE of personality crises and self-doubt more so than an in-depth illustration of inter- and intra-personal conflicts. @Okami_doge I would also like to see a new season of Pico coming. It will be quite fun when the chibis of AM members are included alongside MyGO ones. :) Yet, I guess they will first include AM in the official gameplay. @RobertBobert yes. It appears that MyGO and AM are greatly focused by Bushiroad. I believe that they have wanted to make something more than 'conventional girls' band animes' with two a penny depiction of challenges faced by JKs (joshi kousei, lit. female highschoolers). |

@mc314159 Bushiroad probably didn't quite notice in time how far the "girl band era" they started had gone and are now trying to compete with more plot-driven franchises like Girl Band Cry. As for PICO, it would be funny to see MG and AM in a surreal chibi comedy with the other groups after all this over the top drama, lmao. |

I only started watching this anime a month ago or so due to a reddit post about Sakiko and Uika (I would have never thought of watching Bang Dream if not for that post). I was immediately intrigued and had to know more about them and their relationship. Started watching MyGo and then Ave Mujica. Watching this has been such a wild ride for me. I never expected that I would end up enjoying it as much as I did. The comparison to PMMM is spot on. The music, direction, cinematography, VA's, drama, characterisation and character dynamics (just to name a few things) are all aspects that I thoroughly enjoyed. One of the very rare 10/10 anime for me. Absolutely entertaining and thrilling. |

@TerrorAdhaerens Lol, so you haven't reached the finale of their subplot in episodes 11-12 yet? |

it's a concert episode, but it's the perfect release after 3 months of buildup and anxiety. truly a magical experience. |
