Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience working as a solutions/sales engineer in a cloud computing environment, or in a customer-facing role in a professional services or consulting capacity.
  • Experience writing cloud native POCs and solutions, leveraging Python and SQL.
  • Experience with AI applications (e.g., deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, or pattern recognition), applied machine learning techniques and using OSS frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to global Google office locations.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with data, information management and databases relating to big data trends and emerging AI technologies.
  • Experience with architecture, operational aspects of distributed systems, and technologies in the big data, Machine Learning, and emerging GenAI ecosystem.
  • Knowledge of application ecosystems.
  • Understand and describe application and value of different LLM technologies
  • Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries and ambiguous, environments while building relationships to achieve business goals.

About the job

As a critical technical member of the Cloud Solution Accelerator Workshops (C-SAW) team, you will lead discovery and solutioning in customer workshops designed to assess their business needs and technical requirements. You will guide customers through a series of activities that will help them understand solutions, prioritize those solutions, overcome technical objections, and guide them through POC creation.


You will also work collaboratively with our Product, Industry, Engineering, and Specialist Sales teams.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000-$245,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Engage in development any one of the following: Python, Java, Javascript, or Go), extensive SQL, and utilize knowledge of data, AI/ML, GenAI, and prompt engineering to implement/refine customer solutions and build technical assets (scripts, templates, reference architectures, POCs).
  • Utilize your knowledge of translating customer objectives into technical solutions to reach commercial outcomes.
  • Lead and facilitate solutioning workshops through an innovation lens, using a Design Thinking approach to framing customer problems, business opportunities, and paths to solutions.
  • Leverage collaborative partnerships with cross-functional teams and a network of subject matter experts, both internal and external, to deliver the customer experiences and ensure the expertise is mapped to customer outcomes.
  • Deliver technical thought leadership for Google, sharing products and engaged expertise with peers and customers.
