Spirit Circle is another favorite of mine, it's also about life and relationships but with a fantasy base. Apparently Rainbow: Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin counts as historical, but it's not completely scanlated. Ningen Shikkaku seems to cover all your bases. @shidest How about Prunus Girl?
