While thinking more about "The Campfire" scene in the back of my mind where Jon and Mewtwo sat close to a lit campfire that lights up the cave room, deep within Cerulean Cave. Jon making himself comfortable on his sleeping bag, and Mewtwo is along side him. Mewtwo, after chatting with Jon for a little while, and getting to know Jon as a respectful, kind, caring, and affectionate man he is. Mewtwo begins to slowly warm up to Jon, and trusting him. It was gradual. since Mewtwo may have some pride, and his stoic mask is shielding himself from possibly getting hurt again. Jon sits on his sleeping bag, while Mewtwo sits along side him, watching the campfire as it crackled away and dims the cave room. Jon also opens up more to Mewtwo about his traumatic past with his family, and mostly his father. A narcissistic, emotionally and psychologically abusive, selfish, unremorseful, and a waste of a man, and father. Jon also had chatted with Mewtwo about having to pick up his own pieces of his own life, and living in solitude. Which is pretty similar to Mewtwo, even Mewtwo himself thought this as well. People didn't even helped Jon, No loyalty, respect, kindness, empathy... nothing. Jon talked to Mewtwo about other things like is his life even worth it, or even if it's worth it to seek revenge on the ones whom wronged him and Mewtwo. Eventually Mewtwo seeks comfort with the talk, and even comforts Jon when he was deeply depressed about opening up about his past.
